Baton Rouge Chief of Police Murphy Paul invited all civic association presidents to tour their command center and promote their website geared towards giving full transparency to all crime statistics in the city.
Open Data BR aims to provide a transparent and interactive resource for Baton Rouge residents to monitor crime & incidents of note in their neighborhoods.
Visit the
Open Data Portal or go directly to the
Open Neighborhood BR map to examine specific areas.
How To Use
Enter your address and use the
Pin Options on the left side of the page and choose the data you would like to see. Choose one, some, or all from the data sets available, which include:
- Police & Fire incidents
- 311 Calls
- Building Permits
- Traffic Incidents
Use the
date range drop-down to view your Pin data set(s) during a few days or weeks time or choose a custom date range.
